Once I read an article about Chinese women who collect bottles downtown in New York City. According to the article there is a surprising hierarchal structure that exists among the women, based on which provinces of China the women came from. This video is a subtle exploration of the invisibility and mundanity, yet remarkable complexity of life for these women.
